" Be generous in
prosperity, and thankful in adversity. Be worthy of the trust of thy neighbour,
and look upon him with a bright and friendly face. Be a treasure to the poor,
an admonisher to the rich, an answerer of the cry of the needy, a preserver of
the sanctity of thy pledge. Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech.
Be unjust to no man, and show all meekness to all men. Be as a lamp unto them
that walk in darkness, a joy to the sorrowful, a sea for the thirsty, a haven
for the distressed, an upholder and defender of the victim of oppression. Let
integrity and uprightness distinguish all thine acts. Be a home for the
stranger, a balm to the suffering, a tower of strength for the fugitive. Be
eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring. Be an
ornament to the countenance of truth, a crown to the brow of fidelity, a pillar
of the temple of righteousness, a breath of life to the body of mankind, an
ensign of the hosts of justice, a luminary above the horizon of virtue, a dew
to the soil of the human heart, an ark on the ocean of knowledge, a sun in the
heaven of bounty, a gem on the diadem of wisdom, a shining light in the
firmament of thy generation, a fruit upon the tree of humility." From Gleanings of the writings of Bahá'u'lláh CXXX. A Prayer for the unity of mankind. God grant that the light of unity may envelop the whole earth, and that the seal, 'the Kingdom is God's', may be stamped upon the brow of all its peoples. |

| Devotional gathering. This is a Baha'i expression of community worship. There are no priests or clergy in the Bahá'í Faith so in these meetings only prayers and readings are recited or chanted. The prayers uplift the human spirit. They also assist in the soul's growth and development in drawing it closer to its creator. They provide relaxation and tranquillity to be able to reflect on one's life. The readings facilitate in reflecting on the purpose of God for man and how to orient one's life to this purpose. You are welcome to these gatherings. Please contact us by email. |

Children's Classes These are classes for the moral education of children. They focus on the development of spiritual virtues and character. The inspiration for this morality comes from the Holy Writings. Children are placed in the heart of the community being seen as an invaluable treasure. Bahá'u'lláh said "Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value" It is the discovery of these gems (capacities) that these classes are concerned with. These capacities are primarily spiritual characteristics. All children are welcome. Please contact us by email. for more information. |

| Study Circles Study circles are a community-based system of spiritual education. The Baha'i Writings are used to give illumination on spiritual issues. A study circle consists of a small group of youth and/or adults who come together to study, serve and socialise. There is a curriculum for study circles in the form of a number of books bearing on different themes. The first book is called 'Reflections on the Life of the Spirit'. This consists of three units:
